I highly recommend this company! Myself, daughter and Grandson were traveling down from North Carolina and had an unexpected radiator hose bust. This put our car out of service and I was able to get it off the interstate into a store directly across from S & S Automotive Repair. After walking over and speaking with Courtney inside the office, she was more then happy to help me with any and all of my needs including even allowing me to borrow tools 2 temporarily fix the radiator hose myself. The shop was extremely busy and unable to work me in but did everything to help me out and get me back on the road including my daughter and my grandson. Thank u so much. I had two mechanics work on my suv in Orlando. The first mechanic fixed the belt but he couldn’t get the vehicle running. The second mechanic towed my vehicle to his shop and fixed something. I broke down in Jacksonville.
I had spent m whole paycheck trying to get my vehicle home to Maryland. So I call a tow and had my truck go to this mechanic shop. They is the best. I was very nervous and thinking I wasn’t going to make it home but I did. THANKS to the guys that worked on my truck. I really appreciate them.

This shop is honest reliable and respectful and very helpful. I was told by numerous shops my car needed so many different repairs done and I came to them needing answers and that’s exactly what I got no over charging just straight to the point and at a very reasonable price. The lady in office Courtney was extremely helpful with pricing options and also helping me set up a rental car for the week that they would have my car in the shop. Also I actually got to meet the owner Hardee and he went over everything that they repaired and showed me exactly what was done this was awesome because now day’s shops aren’t that honest and try to sale you everything that is not needed. I had a bit of an emergency when filling up my gas tank at the station next door to S & S. The car immediately struggled and stalled on low RPM. It drove fine all morning so the immediate assumption was bad gas which requires dropping the gas tank, draining it and flushing the fuel lines.

The awesome mechanics at S & S found a disconnected vacuum hose, that by pure coincidence causes the same symptoms as bad gas. They found that the hose had wiggled loose over time. Instead of continuing costly work on the gas tank, they reattached the hose, ensured my gas was safe and engine was running perfectly again.

They sent me on my way, proud to call them my new mechanic shop. I won't trust my car to anyone else! Hardy and his team are amazingly kind people, wonderful to speak to and truly care about doing the right thing! I'd recommend them to anyone!

I recently went in with my sons first used car for a oil change and transmission job. The service was excellent, the representatives were attentive, professional, friendly and courteous. My son is delighted with the way that his car is running that he told me to stop what I was doing and write a review, now. Let me say my son is a teenager and teenagers normally take things for granted.

It would have been easy to say, drop it off and we’ll have it done tomorrow… but they jumped-in with both feet, had parts delivered, repairs made and we were on our way in just a little over two-hours. Thank you, thank you, thank you…. I’d love to have a shop like S&S in our town!

Was driving through Jacksonville on I95 from Savannah GA headed to Destin FL when one of the trailer tires studs sheared off and I lost a wheel. I was towed to SS by Jimmy’s Towing and was seen promptly at 8am by Hardy and his crew. Even though they normally do not do trailer repairs they tracked down the parts needed, which was not an easy feat, and even returned and reordered parts when the wrong ones came in. The customer service was top notch and sitting there all day I got to see first hand how hard all of the crew and customer service people work. They were constantly having people pop in or call and accommodated everyone they could. They got me back on the road and the cost of the repair was very very reasonable. No price gouging and were very concerned that I still had 300 miles on my trip. Even loaded the boat back on my vehicle for me. Would recommend them for all your auto repair needs. NAPA parts certified and trust me, I saw first hand how they will return a part in a heartbeat if it is not top notch. Definitely 5 star service for me.

I was driving from Savannah GA when the boat I was towing lost its left wheel due to studs failing and shearing off on I-95. Through the help of Superior Tires and Jimmies Towing I was referred to S and S and was towed to their shop by Jimmies at 9pm on a Sunday. At 8am the next morning the owner and his crew got to working on it although they normally do not work on trailers. They hunted down the right parts, made several returns of the wrong parts and by the end of the day I was on the road again. He made me a priority although they were already slammed full and as I sat in the shop all day I saw how many people came to them and how many phone calls they got during the day. I saw his crew work hard and doing right by everyone. It was not an act. They treated all their customers great and were very concerned as I still had 300 miles to go on my trip. Everyone there were polite and hard working and the cost of the repair was most reasonable. I would recommend them to anyone in the Jacksonville area. I would also recommend Superior Tire and Jimmies Towing. All three companies worked hand in hand and all three are wonderful companies. Thank you all for taking such good care of this out of towner!

Had several problems with my truck . The team at S & S got me in straight away and did things right . Straight forward talk. Showed me what was wrong and what was needed to be repaired. Honest high quality work with long lasting repairs. Definitely earned my future business.

They suggested and did a transmission fluid flush and filter change on a failing transmission. Charged about 400-450$ for replacing a power windows regulator. The part alone was 263$. I work on cars all the time and I've never bought a window regulator that pricey, especially for a 2002 Saturn. Anyway, they did a complimentary ac recharge and replaced 2 shrader valves on the ac.
